NUTSHELL NATURAL PAINTS
are pleased to announce the launch of three new products for 2010.

First, and most importantly, we have the Launch of

NUTSHELL THERMAL EMULSION

This is a paint that is applied by brush or roller, in the same way as a normal emulsion. But that is where the similarity to ‘Normal Emulsion’ ends. NUTSHELL THERMAL EMULSION employs the latest NANO TECHNOLOGY, which once applied to your walls or ceilings not only decorates but insulates your surfaces against the passage of heat. It can be over-coated with any other NUTSHELL EMULSION and even papered over using NUTSHELL WALLPAPER PASTE.

In independent tests NUTSHELL THERMAL EMULSION was shown to reflect back up to 92% of your heat. This means that your property stays warmer in winter and cooler in summer whilst costing you less to heat and also saving on those, all important, carbon emissions.

Kirstie Champions Nutshell Natural Paints

Channel 4 Presenter and leading light, Kirstie Allsopp, is on a mission to transform a dilapidated country cottage in Devon into the ultimate “homemade” home with everything in it, made solely in the UK. And her chosen paints for this, her latest venture, are none other than our very own “Nutshell Natural Paints,” supplied directly from our West Country Factory.

Our emulsions, satins and wood finishes feature throughout the stunning property, which has grown to be a shinning example of how to reuse and recycle all manner of objects in an eco-friendly way.

I`ve often found that the problem with most paints is the awful smell that is left afterwards. The strong odour can be left in a room for days afterwards and due to this the last time we painted our daughter`s bedroom she had to move out of her room for a few days until the smell of the paint had disappeared. It makes you wonder what they put into the paints to make them smell so strong. There are odourless varieties available but apparently they too contain a wealth of chemicals. Other types of %%KEYWORD%% are now on the market and they only contain natural ingredients. This is a new discovery for me but one that I intend to use fully in the future. The %%KEYWORD%% are available in all types of colours and rooms that have been painted with the paints don`t have to be vacated. These paints are emission free and this is highly reassuring for a parent who wants to paint their child`s bedroom. Made by people who actively care about the environment and the harm the human race is doing to it; %%KEYWORD%% can make a huge difference in many types of settings. From the average family home, to a school or other type of public building, the paints can prove to be highly effective.

It`s trendy to strip back carpets and have treated floorboards exposed. Interior wooden areas look rather tasteful when they have undergone a little therapy with a hint of natural wood finishes. Skirting boards can be brought back to life once they have undergone some of the treatment and there are a range of products that can leave wood looking wonderful. When you have natural pine flooring exposed at home you need to use a product on it that can help to scrub and maintain the appearance of the wood. Swedish floor soap will provide the ideal solution and it can also be used on freshly sanded floors to give them a clean bleached appearance. The home might be graced with a host of fine furniture that could benefit by having the natural wood finishes applied to them. Maybe wood wax is the preferred choice of natural wood finishes as it does tend to leave a charming smell once it has been applied and the wood will also look amazing after a treatment by this product.
